Simon Smith has over 22 years of Industry Experience. He has been engaged and appeared as an expert witness in numerous criminal and civil cases (see sample at the bottom) such as analysing forensic digital evidence in criminal matters; one involving a drug charge and life sentence, which was dropped immediately after Simon submitted his report. Another major cyberstalking and catfishing case involving a famous actor Mr Smith analysed and gave his expert testimony on, outlining the lack of solid evidence and lack of proper procedure in the collection of evidence, which was mostly circumstantial. Another matter which involves the provision of expert opinion advice to a famous Olympic athlete in the area of iPhone forensics. The latest matter involving a shooting where Simon has been asked to verify digital evidence of the accused’s alibi. Other cases have involved murder, cyber stalking, and other alleged criminal activity where Mr Smith has analysed evidence and given opinion on the procedure followed by police or lack thereof.

He has provided expert opinion and analysis of the scope promised vs what was delivered in software and mobile application disputes. In white collar and employee fraud cases Simon has analysed and given evidence and opinion based on that evidence showing how it was done and by whom. In defamation cases where settlement was reached after the submission of Simon's expert report. He has been an avid computer technologist since the age of 11. Simon excelled through VCE (top 2%) in Australia in IT. Shortly after, he was offered an Analyst Programmer role, became a 10-figure entrepreneur, CEO and expert Snr. Systems Analyst in Computer Forensics, Systems Process, Program and People Management.

Simon testifies against prosecution as a Defence expert in criminal matters and acts for either side in civil matters.
